Maroubra Beach is gorgeous and now really family and pet (or fur baby) friendly. The beach seems to stretch for miles and there is so much space to run and play with your kids and fur babies. Yes, the furry friends are supposed to be on a lead on the sand but there are 2 off leash parks and it seems like everyone has their kids and/or puppies in tow.

The official off leash parks are Broadarrow Reserve on Fitzgerald Avenue, which is just a moment’s walk from the beach and the other one is at Coral Sea Park on Yorktown Avenue.

With the fenced kids playground, skate park, beach, cafes and dog parks Maroubra Beach is now such a family friendly spot and great place to spend the day.
